First come emptiness, or shunyata. Shunyata is the emptiness of dualistic fixations of any kind. It is also the emptiness of oneself and of one’s basic core of bewilderment. Understanding that quality of emptiness, or twofold egolessness, we begin to develop a quality of brilliance.
